Shoppers can check product availability in advance of shopping in-store, saving time and the inconvenience of traveling only to find that a product is out of stock. And, offering delivery and contact-free pickup helps shoppers get the groceries they need while maximizing social distancing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But, it\u2019s important to not only offer online shopping, delivery and pickup &#8212; grocers also need to let their shoppers know about these options. A&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.retaildive.com\/news\/googles-new-search-features-let-shoppers-see-curbside-in-store-pickup-off\/585494\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">recent update<\/a>&nbsp;to Google\u2019s Shopping search results, lets retailers clearly communicate all of the shopping options they offer. This feature can help retailers stand apart from competitors, and find new customers looking for the most convenient and safe shopping experience.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Google made this change because of the massive spike in searches for terms such as \u201csafe shopping\u201d and \u201ccurbside delivery\u201d and the need for an easy way for shoppers to see what is in stores before committing to going in person.
